Job Overview

We’re looking for a Social Video Editor to help bring our brand to life across TikTok and Instagram.

This role is focused on creating engaging, high-performing short-form video content — from editing day-to-day posts to helping shape how our brand shows up on social.

You’ll work closely with our marketing and creative teams to turn raw footage into content that feels native, on-trend, and true to the Peace Collective voice.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Content Creation

  • Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms
  • Turn raw footage into engaging, fast-paced, high-retention videos
  • Add captions, transitions, music, and effects optimized for social performance

Adapt content across formats (e.g. TikTok → Reels → ads)

Creative Execution

  • Identify and execute on current social trends, formats, and hooks
  • Collaborate with the team on concepts, storytelling, and content direction

Help refine pacing, structure, and creative to improve performance

Content Optimization

  • Edit with performance in mind (watch time, retention, engagement)
  • Test different hooks, formats, and styles

Support A/B testing and iteration based on what’s working

Brand Alignment

  • Ensure all content aligns with Peace Collective’s voice: relatable, authentic, human, and culturally relevant

Maintain consistency across campaigns and collections

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience editing short-form video content (TikTok/Reels preferred)
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices
  • Proficiency in tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar
  • Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and pacing

Ability to work quickly and iterate based on feedback

Nice to have

  • Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, or DTC brands
  • Experience editing content for paid social ads
  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills

Comfortable contributing ideas, not just executing
