Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Distillery District location.
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll partner closely with the Store Manager to lead the daily operations of the store, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and inspire a high-performing sales team. You'll play a key leadership role by coaching team members, driving sales results, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys leading by example, and is passionate about building strong customer relationships while supporting a purpose-driven brand.
This position reports directly to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Lead the sales floor by delivering an outstanding customer experience and creating meaningful connections with every guest.
- Coach and develop Peace Ambassadors through ongoing feedback, product knowledge, and sales training.
- Help drive store performance by achieving sales goals and key retail KPIs.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily team communication.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and easy to shop.
- Assist with inventory management, replenishment, cycle counts, and loss prevention initiatives.
- Ensure company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety standards are consistently followed.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating team environment.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail leadership experience in a Supervisor, Key Holder, Assistant Manager, or similar role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team to achieve sales goals.
- Strong customer service and selling skills with a passion for creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
